An original 1960’s “Ultra Light” stage light restored into a designer home office floor lamp.
This old Ultra Light has a nice compact head with large impressive barn doors. Most of the lamp is made of metal, so after being stripped back to bare and polished, it has been hard poly coated to protect the final finish and prevent rust.
The 500watt globe and bayonet have been removed and replaced with a regular screw in bayonet which now takes small household energy saver light globes. The lamp easily pops open from the front to change the globe. It has the original bakelite on/off switch and the barn doors are removable to achieve the desired look.
Mounted on a vintage Miller tripod with adjustable legs. The linkages have also been stripped back to bare and polished to a vintage industrial finish to suit.
