A 1960′s Strand pattern 23 production theatre light restored into a unique designer Art Deco home/office floor lamp.
This Strand 23 was in exceptionally good condition for its age and has hence polished up brilliantly. Being a 1960’s lamp, I have restored it with an Art Deco (black & white) theme in keeping with its origins.
Over 20 hours of polishing have gone into this piece to produce a flawless mirror finish. The 500watt globe and bayonet have been removed and a regular screw in bayonet installed which now takes regular household energy saver globes. New brown cotton weave AC cable has been installed with an easy inline on/off switch and an earthed AC plug for safety.
Another wonderful UK theatre lamp salvaged and restored into a unique designer investment piece in your home or office.
